Project Description:
Tooles was selected to provide services for the installation of the access hatches at the Conner Creek CSO Control Facility.
Work involved the removal of the cover atop the triple-box Conner Influent Sewer, sawcutting of two 8′ by 10′ ± hatch openings in the roof slab of the sewer, installing the fabricated steel covers, protective bollards and appurtenant restoration work. Work also included the installation of the protective guard rails within the sewer just upstream of the influent channels to the CSO facility and also the structural condition assessment of the existing Conner forebay roof slab immediately upstream of the Conner sewer gates.
